Hot melt powder can be divided into two specifications: thick powder (80-200 ) and fine powder (0-80 ).
Suitable materials: Swimsuit, diving suits, high elastic cloth, cotton, nylon cloth, chemical fiber cloth
Printing methods:
1. Screen printing, using the gauze of 80-150 mesh to print twice to grantee the coating thickness of glue water that reaches above 30-50um.After printing ,put the heat transfer printing paper on the shelf for 2 hours to dry , then put in the drying box to dry for 65 degrees Celsius, 30 minutes. If dry naturally, it needs 8 hours.
2. The usage of hot melt powder (2 kinds of methods)
(1) The first kind of methods:
Choosing different kinds of hot melt powder according to the properties of the printing material (e.g. choose fine powder for leather, choose both fine and thick powder for knitted fabrics and sail cloth), then add 10-15%of the total amount of glue water to mix intensively.
(2) The second kinds of usage of hot melt powder:
Put on the surface of the glue water before the incomplete drying of glue water.
Heat press setting:
1. Temperature: 130-150
2. Time: 6-15s
3. Pressure: 1.8kg/ cm2
